Comprehensive IV Therapy Training plus Instructor Training
Program Description
Designed for facility nurse educators and nursing instructors who teach IV therapy or conduct annual nursing competency validation. Training includes IV therapy instruction, with optional Phlebotomy and Hypodermoclysis components. Prerequisite: Instructors should complete Frontline’s Comprehensive IV Therapy Training Program before attending. Nursing facility staff completion of the Comprehensive IV Therapy Training Program is also strongly recommended to provide a consistent foundation for competency reinforcement. What is included in the course • Online review and IV Therapy instructor knowledge assessment • Online and hard-copy teaching resources • Infusion Nurses Society (INS) Infusion Skills Competency Validation forms for all included IV skills. These can be adopted and used by the educator for yearly competency sign-offs. • CEs and Certificate of Completion Training Topics Include: 1. Comprehensive IV Therapy (RN and LPN) 2. RN (only) IV Therapy 3. Phlebotomy (optional) 4. Hypodermoclysis (optional) Training Delivery 1. In-person review and skills training 2. Online review course and IV therapy instructor knowledge assessment

Cancellation Policy
Policy All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made by 2 business days before the scheduled class. A refund of the full class fee will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests received on or after the 2 days preceding the class. You can receive credit for a future class. Max is 1 rescheduled class. Submit all requests to scheduling@frontlinemts.com or call 814-395-6118. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.
