Heartsaver® Courses

​Heartsaver® classes are intended for providers that are non-medical or little medical training.

Heartsaver® Courses

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except the portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

Heartsaver® CPR, AED

This class is intended for non-medical or some medical training.

  • Class length is approximately 2 hours. (additional time if adding child and/or infant modules)

  • Includes book and reference cards

  • Optional exam

  • Attendees receive their Heartsaver CPR certificate from the American Heart Association, good for 2 years

  • Persons that usually take this class include: Church staff, persons needed to have CPR for employment in a non-medical setting, CNAs, medical technicians, therapists, direct care staff, coaches, teachers, and non-hospital personnel

  • $55.00 per person

Heartsaver® CPR, AED, First Aid

This class is intended for non-medical or some medical training.

  • Class length is approximately 4.5 hours. (additional time if adding child and/or infant modules)

  • Includes book and reference cards

  • Optional exam

  • Attendees receive their Heartsaver CPR certificate from the American Heart Association, good for 2 years

  • Persons that usually take this class include: Church staff, persons needed to have CPR for employment in a non-medical setting, CNAs, medical technicians, therapists, direct care staff, coaches, teachers, and non-hospital personnel

  • $60.00 per person

Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED

This class is intended for child care providers

  • Class length is approximately 7 hours

  • Meets regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 U.S. states.

  • Optional addition of Adult CPR (no extra cost)

  • Includes book and reference cards

  • Optional exam

  • Attendees receive their Heartsaver CPR certificate from the American Heart Association, good for 2 years

  • Persons that usually take this class include: Church child care staff, Child care workers, foster parents

  • $65.00 per person
