Program Description
As a Nurse, learn the key IV and basic phlebotomy skills not often taught in school. 1. COMPREHENSIVE IV THERAPY FOR NURSES - 9 CEs for the two-part program - Includes Peripheral and Central Venous Access - Equipment and supplies - Infusion therapies - Current Best Practice Guidelines for IV and Infusion Therapy 2. BASIC PHLEBOTOMY SKILLS for NURSES - Introduction to basic nursing phlebotomy - Review different equipment and supplies - Venipuncture techniques - Ways to avoid rejected specimens - Complications and troubleshooting You must be an LPN, RN, or APRN to register. The Comprehensive IV Therapy portion of this course provides the PA SBON-approved IV Therapy training curriculum certificate for the LPN in PA.
