Program Description
Learn the key IV and basic phlebotomy skills not often taught in school. 1. PERIPHERAL THERAPY IV FUNDAMENTALS - Peripheral IV Therapy Basics and Skills - Hands-on practice with a live, in-person instructor - IV and Infusion Therapy Basics - This training is for Nurses and Medical or Healthcare staff whose scope of practice includes the insertion of a peripheral venous catheter and the administration of infusion therapy. - 6 nursing CEs available for the two-part program - Peripheral IV therapy, including Peripheral IV insertion - Fundamental infusion therapy review - This program does not cover Central Venous Access 2. BASIC PHLEBOTOMY SKILLS - 4 CEs for the two-part program - Introduction to basic phlebotomy - Review different equipment and supplies - Venipuncture techniques - Ways to avoid rejected specimens - Complications and troubleshooting

Policy All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made by 2 business days before the scheduled class. A refund of the full class fee will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests received on or after the 2 days preceding the class.
